TOOTH GEMS & ICONS

HOW ARE TOOTH GEMS ATTACHED?
Dental-grade glue and UV light curing are used to adhere crystals and gold to your client’s tooth. It’s similar to putting in an orthodontic bracket. It’s also relatively painless and quick. No drilling is required, and the procedure is semi-permanent.
HOW LONG WILL THE TOOTH GEMS STAY ON?
Longevity is determined by a variety of factors. Gems can last anywhere from a few months to a year. Brushing too hard, chewing hard sweets, wearing retainers, or suffering an injury to the mouth can all damage a connection. Your jewelery lifespan may be shortened as a result of these circumstances.
WHAT IF THEY’RE SWALLOWED?
Only certified lead-free crystals and high-quality gold suited for dental use should be used. If these materials are swallowed, they will pass through the body normally.
CAN I BRING MY OWN GEM?
Outside stones are not permitted to be brought into the studio for application. We would have no means of knowing if the material is of good quality, and we would be unable to accept responsibility for the usage of any outside materials.
SHOULD I GET WHITENING FIRST?
Yes! If you whiten your teeth first, you’ll have less discoloration when the gem eventually comes off or is removed. Because whitening over your gem can weaken the bond, it’s best to apply a whitening first. Both can usually be accomplished in one appointment.
HOW DO I GET THEM REMOVED?
Removing the gem and buffing the adhesive off your teeth should be simple with a visit to your dentist. Extractions must be done by a dental specialist.
IS MY TOOTH A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Only biological material can be fused with charms, crystals, and stones, this excludes veneers, dentures, or gold teeth. Teeth should be in good health. If you’re prone to sensitivity (for example, drinking cold water), the gold or crystal component may exacerbate your sensitivity. Please get advice from your dentist if you are unsure.
DO I NEED TO BE 18+?
To obtain tooth gems, you must be at least 18 years old. You can bring a parent or legal guardian with you and have them sign your paperwork and give you parental consent.
The tooth jewel should not be handled or played with (no picking at it with your finger or tongue). For the first two hours following receiving your tooth jewel, do not eat or chew gum. For the first hour following receiving your tooth jewel, do not drink any water. For 1 hour after application, do not smoke. For the first 12 hours, do not eat or drink anything acidic. Because the glue takes 24 hours to acquire maximum strength, only eat soft foods during this period. For the next 12 hours, do not brush your teeth. Do not use an electric toothbrush for 48 hours after the gem has been inserted. Brush your teeth, clean your teeth, and use mouthwash as needed.
